The Lola LC90 left its mark on the Formula One circuit when Aguri Suzuki took it - and the Espo Larrousse team - to its first podium win at the 1990 Japanese Grand Prix. During the same season, Suzuki was partnered with Eric Bernard. Bernard complemented Suzuki's victory with a sixth-place finish at the Monaco Grand Prix and a fourth-place finish in the British Grand Prix.
